About the Rooms

There are two main types of rooms at Brown:

Doubles (Underclassmen): Each double is approximately 14x18 ft and comes with two bunkable beds, two desks, two wall-mounted bookshelves with desk lights, two dressers with shelves attached, two trashcans, two desk chairs, one floor lamp, and one floor bookshelf. All of the furniture can be moved wherever you want it. Windows cover one wall, closets another. There is one ceiling-mounted light and a smaller light about the vanity. Each room has a cable-TV hookup, a phone jack, and two Ethernet ports. All freshmen are assigned into a double room. The doubles in the tower share two hall bathrooms per floor, one for males and one for females. These hall bathrooms have three showers, each with its own changing area.

Quads (Upperclassmen): The quads have four 8x8 ft singles that are connected to a 16x16 ft common room. Each single comes with a bed, desk, a wardrobe, and an Ethernet hookup. Finally, there are shelves for storage in each of the closets as well as a box closet on each floor and a large trunk room in the basement. Each quad has its own private bathroom.
